Gaia Yoga School’s 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is a Yoga Alliance-certified training that emphasizes safe, accessible, and intelligent yoga instruction. You will be learning how to teach Vinyasa and Yin Yoga in this course.

This 200-hour program is designed for trainees to master the fundamentals of the beginning stages of teaching yoga. This curriculum provides a clear path to learn, experience, and apply the essential components of the vast landscape of yoga for the modern teacher and student. For those who would like to teach, you’ll be prepared for public and private teaching. Our program was also created for those who are looking for a more in-depth study for your own practice. Our carefully crafted program will prepare you with the following key elements of teaching:

  • Learn the core alignment for traditional yoga postures based on functional anatomy

  • Skills of a teacher. How to hold space for a variety of students in a classroom, private, clinical or corporate setting.

  • Understand the essential principles of adjustments, ensuring safety and comfort for the teacher and student.

  • Anatomy focused on the musculoskeletal system and its application in yoga postures

  • Develop a greater understanding of the breath-to-movement connection, including basic breathing exercises to integrate into your classes

  • Learn the basics of verbal cueing to create clear and safe yoga classes

  • The 8 limbs of yoga and other fundamental yoga philosophy

  • Introduction to energetic anatomy through the Chakra System


    Our 3-week intensive training session is a course designed for you to pursue your yoga teacher training certification by diving deep into the practice.
