How To Create Your Own At-Home Retreat

The planet has officially forced us to slow down and turn inward. Rather than feeding into fear, let’s all take this time to take care of ourselves as best that we possibly can. Mind, Body, & Spirit.

Use this time to make your own mini home retreat to ground, anchor into your body, and elevate your spirit.

Step 1: Clean your space

Create a clean and zen environment to live in for the next few weeks. Bonus: sage your space to clear any negative energy.

Step 2: Move your body

In your home or out in nature - sweat, strengthen, and stretch your body. Feel your physical form in all of its glory and find gratitude for it.

Step 3: Take time for stillness and reflection

Meditate, BREATHE, journal, sit with your feelings and emotions and then CHOOSE love and gratitude over fear and anxiety.

Step 4: Give yourself a spa day

Light some candles, put on a mask, take an Epsom salt bath, and give yourself a mani-pedi.

Step 5: Nourish your body with clean, healthy food

Make your own healthy dishes or order in. You can also make refreshing cucumber water or soothing ginger tea.

Step 6: Get inspired

Read self-help books or autobiographies and watch inspirational content through Ted Talks, documentaries, or YouTube.

Step 7: RELAX

These are stressful, anxiety-ridden times. Allow yourself time to relax, laugh, and enjoy yourself.
